PR Assistant Amy has a worked in a diverse range of roles since completing her diploma in Retail Display and Design.

She spent six years working in retail management before moving into the fast-paced environment of residential lettings, where she worked for two years. Amy has been part of the Webb Associates team for over seven years.

Joining Webb Associates fresh from completing a degree in English Literature, senior account manager Annabelle has swiftly settled into the fast moving world of PR.

When it comes to delivering wide-ranging coverage, Annabelle is a consistent performer to the highest level and her great organisational skills ensure she’s always ahead of the game.

Senior Copywriter

Claire joined Webb Associates in 2015 as a copywriter, having graduated from De Montfort University in 2014 with a degree in English Language and Journalism. During her studies, Claire carried out work experience at a number of regional newspapers, and worked part-time for a monthly local community magazine.

Before joining the team, Claire was working for a homeware supplier, for which she produced the content for their weekly online blog, writing about their latest products.

Georgia Waldron

Senior Account Executive

Senior Account Executive Georgia joined the Webb Associates team in April 2016 having previously worked for BMW as a Local Business Development Manager, and before that Apple.

A Business Management graduate from De Montfort University in Leicester, Georgia was runner-up in the 2011 Young Entrepreneur of the Year award after a team she led created an environmentally friendly wind-up charging device aimed at the camping industry.

She is looking forward to developing and implementing new ideas for PR strategies in her role at Webb Associates, as well as unleashing her creative side.

JACQUELINE CHEUNG

Senior Account Manager

Senior account manager ‘Jax’ previously studied a degree in Marketing with Events Management at the University of Birmingham, before she graduated in 2007. Throughout her studies she won awards for being the highest achiever across marketing programs and was also editor of her school’s student magazine while she was doing her A-levels.

Following this, she spent more than eight years working for Helly Hansen in a variety of roles, most recently as a marketing project manager, where she was responsible for events, sponsorships, partnerships and social media in the UK and Ireland. Jax joined the Webb Associates team in November 2015 and is excited about expanding her PR agency skills and developing new ideas for PR strategies.

Director

Jane boasts a wealth of experience in public relations and marketing.

Before forming Webb Associates, she worked as account director for two leading Midlands consultancies – at Sutton Coldfield-based Haslimann Taylor and at the Birmingham office of international PR group McCann Weber – handling a wide variety of business and public sector clients.

Areas of expertise include planning and management of public relations programmes, building journalist relationships and assessing client needs and translating them into deliverable campaign objectives.

Copywriter

Since graduating from Northumbria University with a degree in Journalism and Media in 2011, Layla has worked as an Account Manager for Polypipe Civils and Madison Distribution, while in between those roles ran an online magazine as well as her own business as a personal trainer.

Senior Copywriter

Rachel joined Webb Associates after seven successful years as deputy editor of a popular weekly newspaper in Leicestershire.

Having qualified as a journalist in 1996, English graduate Rachel has also spent time as a reporter and news editor for a major evening newspaper.

Account Manager

Rebecca, or ‘Becks’ as she’s also known, joined the Webb Associates team in November 2015 as an account manager. She previously worked for an events company while she attended college and studied for her degree in Education, Religion and Philosophy at the University of Hull.

After university Becks then spent a few years working for Chris George The Estate Agent as an operations manager specialising in property details, before moving to her current role in PR.

ROB WEBB

ROB WEBB

Director

Rob has an extensive background in both the media and marketing sectors.

Before joining Webb Associates in 2000, he spent five years as head of public relations for British Basketball, managing strategic marketing and PR programmes for blue chip names including Sainsbury’s, Kraft and Budweiser.

Prior to that, Rob worked as a freelance journalist for BBC Radio and Sky Television, and was a contributor to the Daily Mail, Daily Express and Daily Telegraph.

Senior Copywriter

Sian gained her NCTJ qualifications after graduating from De Montfort University in 2014 with a degree in Journalism. While she was at university, Sian was awarded the Leicester Mercury’s District Reporter of the Year Award, and also worked part-time writing for and editing a community and advertising magazine in Hinckley called The Local Rock.

After university she worked as a reporter for The Hinckley Times newspaper before joining Webb Associates in August 2014 as a copywriter, with a particular interest in social media as a PR tool.

SOPHIE WICKWAR

SOPHIE WICKWAR

Account Executive

PR assistant Sophie started working for Webb Associates in June 2015. Before joining the team she graduated from the University of Leicester in 2014 with a degree in History and spent a year working as a co-ordinator for the Community Health Services and CenTre Neonatal Transport Service.

In her role Sophie is responsible for a wide array of tasks including organising events, processing press releases and setting up mailings. Sophie’s favourite aspect of PR is the opportunity to get creative and develop new ideas.

VICTORIA KIRK

VICTORIA KIRK

PR Assistant

Vickie has over 16 years of experience working in marketing, having started her career after completing a diploma in Art and Design. She then went on to acquire a CIM Marketing Diploma, and gained experience working in various marketing roles for a variety of well-known brands, both client side and agency related.

Vickie joined the team in 2013, after working for leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey for six years as a marketing manager for the East Midlands.

WENDY WILLIAMS

Office Manager

Wendy qualified as a chartered accountant after training at Price Waterhouse in London, before working for two years as director of finance and admin for a consultancy company in the capital.

While her two children were growing up, Wendy worked in finance roles for various other industries, including the property sector, before joining Webb Associates.
